Understand Vendor Contribution

LMI added to the loan or vendor contributions to eliminate upfront costs.

Under Evolve’s arrangements, a vendor may contribute towards the buyer’s deposit. This is referred to as a Vendor Contribution. Unlike traditional vendor finance, the contribution is not repayable to the vendor.

A conditional deposit example

For an eligible buyer with a 10% deposit, a vendor contribution may provide a further 10%, bringing the total deposit to 20%. Depending on lender criteria, this may enable a Low Doc loan and avoid Lenders Mortgage Insurance (LMI).

This example is illustrative. Contributions, funding of LMI and any upfront-cost arrangements depend on the property, lender, product and eligibility. Costs and savings vary; request an assessment of your circumstances.
